Your writing is personal. ILYS provides security features to help keep your account safe.
Browser Sessions #
ILYS shows you all the devices and browsers where you’re logged in.
Viewing Your Sessions #
- Go to Profile → Security
- Scroll to Browser Sessions
- See a list of active sessions
Each session shows:
- Device/browser type
- Approximate location
- When it was last active
Logging Out Other Sessions #
See a session you don’t recognize? Or just want to clean up?
- Click Log Out Other Browser Sessions
- Enter your password to confirm
- All sessions except your current one are signed out
This is useful if:
- You logged in on a public computer
- You lost a device
- You see suspicious activity
Password Security #
Changing Your Password #
- Go to Profile → Security
- Find Update Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password twice
- Click Save
Good Password Practices #
- Use a unique password — Don’t reuse passwords from other sites
- Make it long — 12+ characters is better than complex and short
- Use a password manager — They generate and remember strong passwords
- Change if compromised — If you suspect someone has your password, change it immediately
Tips #
- Check sessions regularly — Make sure you recognize all logged-in devices
- Log out on shared computers — Don’t stay signed in on public machines
- Use a strong, unique password — It’s your first line of defense
