How to Change Your Theme #
- Go to Profile (click your avatar in the header)
- Find General Settings
- Under “Choose a Theme,” select from the dropdown
- The theme applies instantly

Theme + Dark Mode #
Themes work with both Light and Dark mode. The same theme looks different depending on your brightness setting:
- Light mode — Brighter, airy feel
- Dark mode — Richer, moodier tones
Try your favorite theme in both modes to see which you prefer.
When Themes Apply #
Your theme colors appear:
- On the Dashboard
- In the Editor
- In the Writing Space
- Throughout all ILYS menus and settings
The theme doesn’t affect your exported documents—those use standard formatting.
